The company was founded by Mr. Frank O’Rielly, a former insurance salesman in Los Angeles, CA. Mr. O’Rielly learned the complex areas of the automobile industry in just three short years. Convinced he could do better on his own, Mr. O’Rielly broke from the dealership he was at. On March 23, 1924, O’Rielly Motor Company opened its doors as Tucson’s first Chevrolet dealer. From the beginning, Mr. O’Rielly was determined to provide Tucson area drivers with nothing but the best in two things still in place today: sales and service. For O’Rielly, since the beginning, complete service after the sale was even more important than making the sale. As the vehicles developed, Mr. O’Rielly purchased new shop equipment to match this new technology. His goal was simple: keep repair costs minimal and get the customer back on the road.  Service after the sale also meant keeping up with the customers and always making a point to check up with the customer and their vehicle if it was in for service/repair work.   Over the years, the O’Rielly organization has earned a solid following and reputation in the Tucson business community. This location, which features Chevrolet commercial trucks in light and medium duty, has developed a huge following in a short period of time.  Both fleet companies and commercial vehicle customers enjoy the large selection of vehicles. In addition, the staff is determined to match the customer with the right truck for the application. Because of this, O’Rielly Commercial Truck Center does a large amount of retro-fitting bodies and frames.
